Welcome to the IPMS/USA Reviews site!

Introduction: The primary organization of the IPMS/USA Review website is by IPMS/USA National Contest Class. Within each Class there are sub-menus by kits, decals, books, etc. The Miscellaneous Class is for items that are not class specific or that cross two or more classes.

IPMS/USA Members: We encourage you to submit reviews, both here and to the Journal. To volunteer for membership in the IPMS/USA "Reviewers Corps" and submit your own reviews, please read the Guidelines For Submitting Product Reviews.

Manufacturers, publishers, and other industry members: IPMS/USA is pleased to offer your company the opportunity for product reviews. All product reviews are performed by IPMS/USA members, and are posted in the publicly-accessible section of our website. With very few exceptions, we perform full build reviews of new kit releases, aftermarket products, and supplies. If you would care to provide product samples for review, please contact John Noack, IPMS/USA 1st VP.

Brief History from Wikipedia

The IAV (Interim Armored Vehicle) Stryker is a family of eight-wheeled armored fighting vehicles derived from the Canadian LAV III. Stryker vehicles are produced by General Dynamics Land Systems Canada for the United Staes Army. It has 4-wheel drive (8×4) and can be switched to all-wheel drive (8×8). The vehicle is named for two unrelated U.S. soldiers who posthumously received the Medal of Honorr: Private First Class Stuart S Stryker, who died in World War II, and Specialist Four Robert F Stryker, who died in the Vietnam War.

In April 2019, the Army decided to add cannon armament to Stryker DVH ICVVA1 vehicles in three brigades; the first is planned to be equipped in 2022

The Zoukei Mura Kit

Refer to Part 1 for the construction of this fine model kit.

There have been a number of positive reviews for the Zoukei Mura F-4 Phantom series of model kits, and I cannot add anything new, other than these are really great kits. I would encourage anyone interested in this airraft to purchase any Zoukei Mura Phantom. You will not be sorry.

Aftemarket Accessories Used

Several months ago I had the opportunity to review the following Hypersonic Models aftermarket accessory set that I had originally planned to use on a Zoukei Mura F-4S Phantom sometime in 2020. However with the opportunity to build and review the "J" version I decided now is the time to utilize the Hypersonic Models set. Since the Zoukei Mura Phantom have had their fair share of reviews I will focus my efforts on describing the modifications to the kit with the inclusion of the follwing accessory into the build.

This set is designed to be used on Trumpeter’s Su-24 kits. The set consists of 10 resin parts which allows you to assemble a pair of exhaust nozzles for your Su-24 Fencer. Each nozzle set is comprised of a section with the rearmost fan blades, the flame-holder for the afterburner, the exhaust pipe and the rear nozzle assembly. The set also includes the rear engine bay bulkhead and the oddly shaped section between the two nozzles.
