EVEN more THANKS VERY MUCH to our friends at Eduard in Czechoslovakia!, and Phil and John in the specialized shipping to reviewer’s business.

This review is uber simple without a tip requirement for the driver. It’s the basic stencils from the Tempest Profipak kit decal sheet, to which you can apply to the marking you want from the kit OR some other source. It’s all there… and the only decals I didn’t use were those specific to certain kit markings; like the door outline in red with a lot of instructions on how to open it, the yellow “cut here on the canopy, and myriad two-dot decals to indicate airframe bolts with specialty metal composition.

I did not have time or vision to put the dots on. Sorry.

These are some of the best decals I’ve used in a while; they were thin but did not roll up on themselves, and when I used the appropriate setting solutions, the carrier film magically disappeared. A semi-gloss overcoat and it was done. What else is there to modeling?

Examples shown on the photos include my particular personal gremlin: Markings on missiles. The carrier film was thick enough to not roll backwards on itself, and permanently become a double-thickness, backwards and forwards decal that would not come apart to save itself, even when dropped in hot water. Old pros, you know what I mean.

This never happened here! Eduards Stencils stuck on the rocket body and warhead, were movable when a bit of water was offered up, and when lightly pressed on final location, stayed. A bit of Solvaset about an hour later, no silvering, and once hit with flattener looked very nice. Even the much loved but hated nose rings worked well! (I love them but hate them because sometimes they are too short or refuse to stay… not these red rings, they were engineered well and worked great!)

In closing, Thanks again Eduard for these magnificent aftermarket sheets… you are Leading from the front! And thanks to John and Phil for trusting me once more to get the job done.
