Two Bobs Aviation Graphics is one of leaders in aviation decals with an impressive variety in 1/32, 1/48 and 1/72 scale. This latest release, which has very large amount of markings, fifteen to be exact! Each of the fifteen subjects of the 494th Fighter Squadron have colorful nose art that are real attention getters like "Dead Pool" "Texas Ranger" and one of the markings, "2-Oh-40oz" which has an image of a red tail P-51D dropping bombs. The aircraft and nose are included is: 00-3001 "Jenny"; 00-3002 "Devils Darlin"; 00-3003 ""Gears of War"; 00-3004 "Bulls Eye"; 01-2000 "Valkyrie; 91-1311 "Lady Liberty"; 91-1313 "Texas Ranger"; 91-1314 "Chief"; 91-1324 " White Walrus"; 91-1326 "Ravage"; 91-1329 ""Deadpool"; 91-1335 "Megalodon"; 96-1602 "A-Bombinator"; 96-0201 "Firebird" and 96-0204 ""2-Oh-40oz".

The three sheets (two standard sheets and one small sheet with tail markings) are printed perfectly without any print register errors. All the markings, especially the small ones, are very fine and easy to read. All the markings are included from unit markings, stencils, walkways and markings for the "Sniper" pod. There should be enough stencil markings and insignias to do two aircraft. There are two (front and back) color instructions sheets with the stencil instructions on a 11 x 17 color sheet that clearly show placement of markings for the fifteen subjects. The instructions indicate the single FS paint color as well as typical weapons load out guide. There are not any weapons decals but Two Bobs can take care of you there with three choices of missile decal sheets on their site.

The number of aircraft that are represented here are phenomenal and the hardest part will be choosing a subject. Very fine work from Two Bobs and that is what I have always seen from them.

I would like to thank Two Bobs Aviation Graphics for this review sample.

I have been building models since at least 8 years old and with a brief break after high school, model building started again late in college. My preferred subjects are aircraft of all eras and scales but a majority of my builds are 1/48 scale. I am the son of a USAF navigator who flew tactical airlift in Vietnam then his last 8 years he served at Altus AFB where he retired. My love of aircraft comes naturally and try to build subjects that I have a personal connection to. My day job parallels the hobby where I design full flight simulators ranging from small corporate jets, military fighter jets to the C-17. I hold a commercial pilot certificate and fly as a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol. I really enjoy flying cadets, passing on the love of flight and inspiring future aviators.
