Furball Aero Designs continues its fine efforts to bring modern, current plane markings to the masses with their latest release, Air Wing All Stars: Super Hornets Part II. This set includes six markings for the F/A-18E Super Hornet and one for the F/A-18F. The set is printed by Cartograf and is in perfect register.

The markings included are for the following air frames:

• VFA-192, F/A-18E 165782, “NE 300”, USS George Washington, 2015
• VFA-213, F/A-18F 166674, “AJ 201”, USS George H.W. Bush, 2011

The decals are designed for the Hasegawa kits which are excellent kits. One great thing about the set is that each airframe has an entire side of an 8.5 x11” sheet so there is plenty of room for details and decal placement. For example, on #166830, this jet uses black stencils and has a white tail hook with black stripes and the print is large and easy to read. The same goes with the decal placement- it large enough to easily read the details and locations. There are also color call-outs with name and FS numbers on each sheet too. This carries over to all seven airframes.

Lastly, there is a separate sheet for stencil placement which includes great touches like decals for the interior of the exhausts and the SJU-17 ejection seat. On top of all this, there are enough of all decals to mark TWO complete airframes.

So, enough beautifully printed decals for two airframes, superb schemes and research along with great instructions…it is as close to perfect as a set of decal sets get. Most highly recommended.
