DXM (Double Excellent Model) Decals is a hobby company based in Taiwan and has been producing models since 2018. DXM produces modern jet aircraft (primarily United States, Japan, and Israel, but there are some other unique air forces – Hellenic, Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force, etc.) decals in 1/144, 1/72, 1/48, and 1/32 scales. In addition, there are weathering/rusted airbrush templates, 3D parts, and conversion sets. The decals are printed by Cartograph. These decals are versatile, are in register, and have bright colors. Their selection is amazing and will elevate your next modern Western aircraft to a new level. If you haven’t tried DXM Decals, do yourself a favor and give them a look. Looking at other published reviews on the IPMS/USA website, I happily found I am not alone in the assessment that DXM products are affordable, easy to apply, and look great on the model.

A bonus about modeling is the research, and I was surprised to learn that the US Marine Corps is still flying legacy Hornets. The variety of aircraft markings in VMFA-312 is impressive, and I look forward to marking one of these birds with the Kinetic kits in my stash. This set is highly recommended!
