For those that have never heard of FOXBOT, they are a decal and mask manufacturer from the Ukraine and have a series of decals and masks in scales from 1/32 down to 1/144. They specialize in planes from their region such as MiG and Sukhoi but they do have markings for other planes such as B-25 and P-38’s. Needless to say, this company could use some support at this time. The set includes markings for four MiG-25RB’s of the Ukrainian Air Force:
- MiG-25RBF, Blue 74, 48th SGRAR, Kolomiya 1995
- MiG-25RBS, Red 17, 48th SGRAR, Currently at Aviation Museum in Vinnitsa
- MiG-25RBT, Red 19, 48th SGRAR, Kolomiya, Middle 1990’s
- MiG-25RBT, Blue 73, 48th SGRAR, ZARP, Zaporozhye, early 2000’s
Inside the package is a full color instruction sheet. This includes both side profiles for all four markings and includes a detailed painting guide. All paints are referenced in FS, Humbrol and Tamiya paints. The decal sheet is very colorful and in perfect register and is printed by Decograph from the Ukraine. Markings include all the specifics to make the planes like tail crests and numbers along with the Ukrainian wing markings.
Definitely recommended. This set is a great addition to make your MiG-25 stand out. Many thanks and prayers to FOXBOT to be safe and to IPMS/USA for the opportunity to review them.
