Panzer Divisions WWII Decals
This is an excellent decal sheet, and it is nice for this to be on the market! Decals are provided for 28 panzer divisions. Between one and five decals are provided for each division. The decals for the divisions with three, four, or five decals are differentiated by the years which they were used.
The color register is excellent, and the images are sharp and clear. The decals are thin and will conform to curved and uneven surfaces nicely, yet they are not so thin that they will tear when wet. They release form the backing paper easily and require minimal wet time.
For this review, you can see the decals being used on two pieces of German armor: a King Tiger marked with an 11th Panzer Division Zusatzsymbol “ghost” (see kit review “1/35 Battle of Berlin” by ICM) and a Marder I with 21st Panzer Division markings (see kit review “1/35 Jagdpanzer Marder I” by Tamiya).
Since many armor kits do not have division markings on their decal sheets, this is a welcome accessory. The quality is very high--as are all AMMO products--and you will get many uses from it. German armor modelers should keep at least one of these—if not several---in their stock of supplies.
Thank you to AMMO for providing this decal sample and thank you to IPMS for the opportunity!
