Aviation Modelling International is an aircraft modeling magazine produced by Phoenix Scale Publications, hailing from Great Britain. According to the Phoenix Scale Publications website,
Phoenix Scale Publications is a partnership of four people who have worked in the modelling and aviation press for many years and have come together to produce two brand-new, high-quality modelling titles and a new book series – for modellers, by modellers - with each partner bringing their own unique talents.

This is an amazing aviation model magazine that focuses on aircraft. The magazine is high quality, and the images are sharp; in short, this is a joy to read and get inspiration through the beautiful builds within its glossy pages. As you can see from the topics, they are varied and are written about or showcase some of the preeminent modelers of our time. The only error I found was in the table of contents where all the featured models were highlighted in yellow as 1:48 kits, whereas only three articles were about 1:48 subjects; the other models were in common scales as outlined above. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying the amazing photos and articles about beautiful aircraft models.
While I am one of the readers who enjoys holding a physical copy of what I am reading, the digital subscription is a great option in these days of increased postage and printing costs. I can recommend this magazine for aircraft modelers, or anyone interested in aviation models.
Profuse thanks to Phoenix Scale Publications and IPMS/USA for providing the review sample.
