Thanks to Eduard Model Accessories for sending these excellent aftermarket missiles from the Brassin line for review. Thank you to the IPMS Reviewer Corps for letting me review them! I am very appreciative of the chance to contribute back to the scale-modeling community.

This review covers a complete pair of AGM-88B HARM missiles, with both long and short pylon options. The missiles replace and supplement kit ordnance. They are cast in dark gray resin and all parts were easily removed from the pour plugs. I found the resin to have a very nice balance of workability and strength. I had no troubles with brittle parts or needing to do excessive sanding. Flash was minimal and easily removed when present. The missiles are cast from the tail forward, leaving very little material to trim off, only from the after edge of the fins and the nozzle on the missile body. The forward guidance fins are cast as separate pieces and were easily attached to the missile body. Photo-etch brass exhaust rings are included, with extra rings, and a comprehensive decal sheet is included.

The detail on the missiles is very crisp and subtle and they compare very well to photos I found on the U. S. Navy website. I painted the missiles using Tamiya acrylic with no problems. The only preparation I used was an overnight soaking in concentrated Simple Green® soap solution. The decals are very clean with no registration issues at all and settled snugly into position with no problems. Extra decals are included, which I always appreciate when small stencils and the like are required. The pylons have the most positive and strongest attachment points for underwing ordnance that I have ever seen on a kit. A dovetail-like pin on the bottom of the pylon slides into a matching “clamp” or key on the missile body. This is very similar to how it is done on the real thing, and makes it possible to hang the missile without glue, should you choose to.

I highly recommend these missiles! They were very enjoyable to assemble and paint. I will be hanging them on an EA-6B soon.

Thanks again to Eduard Model Accessories for sending samples for review. Thank you to the IPMS Reviewer Corps for letting me review them, it is a much appreciated privilege.
