MkXVII Depth Charger and Bomb Rack

Published:
Company: Brengun

Hauler has provided another addition to the 1/72 aircraft weapons arsenal with these World War two Depth Charges and bomb rack.

The detail quality is great. Be very careful when removing the fin end of the Depth Charges as they are very fragile, and I broke one. The parts once removed from the mold base are ready to assembly. There is also a small Photo Etch sheet with some very delicate parts that need careful removal and added to the assembly

The Assembly is quick and easy. The final part is painted Olive Drab and looks great as an addition to any 1/72 Aircraft

Thanks go to Hauler/Brengun for providing this kit to review and IPMS USA for allowing me to review it for them

The book covers the complete history of De Havilland Canada Civil Aircraft production form the amazingly successful DHC-2 Beaver to the DHC-8-400. These groundbreaking aircraft are all covered in this book in in-depth and informative detail.

This is a very highly illustrated book with many great photos of all the variants of each aircraft.

The history, development and continued use of many of this outstanding aircraft are very well covered in this book and I must say I did read the whole book in one evening and wished it was longer even thou it did not need to be.

I personally worked on the several aircraft in the Dash 7 and Dash 8 series on interior monuments. So, this book is a great addition to my library.

I recommend this book to everyone with an… more

I really wanted to review this book as my Father served in the Royal Tank Corp in North Africa from 1942 till the end of the North Africa campaign, then shipped to Italy. This subject was close to my heart and my passion for this era.

Company: PeKo Publishing

The book was written by Wilhelm Bender, a Medic in the German Infantry and Artillery from 1939 to the end of the war. This tells the story of his war experiences on the Eastern front and the use of the Raupenschlepper tracked support vehicle.

The book is really about everyday life and issues being a soldier in the regular German army in the Eastern Front, from the days Germany was winning battles to the long road to total defeat of the German war machine.

The personal collection of photos Wilhelm uses in the book are excellent and help show the conditions and day to day life of these soldiers during the whole war.
