Euro Decals has provided IPMS/USA reviewer corps with a wonderful decal set for the WWII North American P-51 Mustang Mk. III (P-51B/C variant) in service for the Royal Air Force and Royal Australian Airforce. There is no specific mention of a preferred model company for this decal set.

In the Package

There is one (1) decal sheet provided with all the individual markings and roundels for each airplane. Compared to other Euro Decal sets, this one has all the roundels for all eleven (11) planes.

Each plane gets its own sheet for illustration and decal placement. Exterior paint information is also provided for Humbrol, Xtracolour, Xtracrylix, Mr. Color Aqueous, MRP, and Vallejo Model Air.

The decals are printed by Fantasy Printshop with perfect registry and vibrant colors and with barely any clear decal film edging.

Conclusions

There are eleven (11) decal options for the N.A. Mustang Mk. III and it may inspire you to build multiple planes. The markings are in perfect registry and the color tones look to be historically correct. If you are a fan of the WWII N.A. Mustang Mk. III (RAF & RAAF) and own a 1/72nd scale kit, then this is a must-buy.
