F-16C 60 Years of Weasels
Two Bobs Aviation Graphics has provided the IPMS/USA Reviewer Corps with a wonderful waterslide decal set commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the very first Suppression of Enemy Air Defense (SEAD) mission, which was flown during the Vietnam War in 1965. This project was code named “Wild Weasel.” This decal set captures the unique paint scheme applied to F-16C Fighting Falcons of the 20th Fighter Wing out of Shaw AFB in South Carolina.
The two F-16C Fighting Falcons markings are for:
- F-16C Block 50P, SN 92-3920 – 20th FW, 60th Anniversary, Shaw AFB, South Carolina, December 2025
- F-16C Block 50, SN 00-0220 – 20th FW, Ops Group Commander, Shaw AFB, South Carolina, December 2025.
In the Package
There is one folded color page which is printed on both sides (11” X 14“) that shows decal placement. The decal sheet is a complete set for two F-16Cs, including stencils. In addition, there are decals for the ALQ-184 3-Band Long ECM pod, AN/AAQ-33 Sniper XR Advanced Targeting pod, and AN/ASQ-213 HARM Targeting System pod. Also included are vendor color paint guides for AK, Hataka, Mr. Color, and Mr. Paint brands.
The decals are made by Cartograf. They are in perfect register with vibrant colors and minimal clear decal film edging. The overall print quality is excellent.
Conclusions
This decal set is Highly Recommend to everyone! This is a great decal set to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Wild Weasel Program. I have applied Two Bobs decals on several of my airplane builds, and I can testify that the quality is top-notch.
I want to thank Two Bobs Aviation Graphics for providing this wonderful decal set and IPMS/USA for allowing me the opportunity to perform this review.
