C-45 Expeditor Part 2
Caracal Models second release for the ICM 1/48 C-45 Expeditor covers this plane in service outside the United States with a total of five sets of markings. Inside the package, there is a seven page booklet which has full profiles of each plane (left and right as well as top and bottom), a page of color call outs and the cover showing all five variations.
The five options are:
- Expeditor 3TM 1391, Training Command - Royal Canadian Air Force 1960s
- Expeditor 3TM 1533, 4th Wing - Royal Canadian Air Force 1966
- JRB-4 BuNo 44596, Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force 1960s
- Expeditor Mk.II HB275, No.231 Group, Royal Air Force 1945
- SNB-5 N51259, Air America 1968
A standard size decal sheet is included which is printed by Microscale and is very colorful, in registration and has all the needed markings. No stencils are included. One very nice feature is that there is an explanation on each of the options describing exactly what variations are needed for that specific air frame. Details include long or short nacelles, antennae placement, comments about the real plane, etc. This is great information for accuracy and detail.
This is another great set and whether you want a C-45 from Air America or from the RAF, this set has you covered. Another excellent and recommended set from Caracal Models. My thanks to them for providing modelers with more great options. Recommended!
