Packaged inside of the traditional blister pack with foam protection are seven beautifully cast light grey resin pieces and one fret of photo etch.

The resin pieces all feature beautiful surface detail including the stitching on the fabric portions. Other than cutting the parts from the pour blocks there is no other cutting required on the kit. se parts are drop in replacements for the kit items. y feature finer details and the addition of photo etch thin trim tabs. On the tail surfaces you have the option to cut off the molded on resin trim tab you can replace it with a photo etch one or leave the resin ones in place. I elected to leave them on for the tail. ones on the aileron fit perfectly and were attached with superglue.

The other thing is that the ailerons have a more robust attachment point for the mass weight. That is the little dangly thing on the bottom of the aileron. Eduard gives you three just in case you let the carpet monster eat one.

I elected to cut off the mounting lugs so I could reposition my flight controls slightly. had made an adjustment in the cockpit to the stick to have the stick to the right and forward slightly so I could show off this set. With this set up the right aileron was tilted up and the left one down. The elevators were drooped as well. This adds a little bit of life to the model with minimal work. attached them to the model will be with superglue. did have to thin down the aileron ever so slightly as the fit was that good.

Overall this is a very nice set and nice upgrade. It is simple in its execution. The ailerons did need a little sanding on the ends to get them to fit but nothing drastic. The realistic fabric representation is better than the plastic kit offering. I like the ability to articulate the control surfaces, just don’t forget to move the stick. This is another winner of a set from Eduard for their 109F series. The stronger attachment point for the mass weights was appreciated and the scale thinness of the trim tabs was more realistic then the kit offerings.

Highly recommended
