Quickboost, which is part of Aires, is known for their wonderful and simple kit enhancements which are drop in or require slight surgery. This set is for the wonderful AMK 1/48th Kfir kit and is a replacement set of antennae. It consists of six resin parts on a small casting block which replace five of the kit parts. Parts 1,2 4 and 5 are listed as direct replacement while part 3 requires the removal of the molded-on kit part. All of the casting is superb and the parts are finer than the corresponding kit parts.

Going through the parts individually:

• Part 1 replaces the two horn-shaped antennae on the upper fuselage and there is a small issue. When AMK remolded the fuselage to get a better shape, these two parts are now molded with the base attached. To get the Quickboost parts to work, you need to cut the insert base off, glue it onto the kit, sand flush, and then glue the resin replacements onto the area. The Quickboost parts are much finer as you can see, but I passed on this due to time constraints to finish the review.
• Part 2 is a direct replacement of kit part C10 and you can see by the accompanying photo the difference in size between kit and QB parts. QB looks better and drops right into place. Make sure there is enough space between the antennae and the front gear doors.
• Part 3 requires a quick removal of the kit part and is much thinner and realistic.
• Part 4 is a great direct replacement for a pitot tube or antennae on the upper nose
• Part 5 is a drop-in replacement for a kit antennae/pitot on the bottom of the fuselage.

In summary, this set requires a very small amount of work and the Quickboost parts are much more to scale. This is great and simple improvement to a wonderful kit. Recommended.
