L.Z Models has provided another great accessory for any military tractor. These were used to flatten ground to allow the building of airfields and camps, etc. The detail quality is great, with minimal flash or other imperfections. The parts, once removed from the mold base, are ready to assembly. The small parts are very delicate and you must take extreme care when removing them from the mold base. The assembly is quick and easy. The final part is painted olive drab and looks great as an addition to any diorama. Hand Pallet TruckPublished:
Hauler has provided another addition to the great Diorama releases with this Modern Hand Pallet Truck. These were used to manually transport single pallet loads in commercial and military logistics operations. The detail quality is great; there is a lot of easily removable flash and no other noticeable imperfections. The parts once removed from the mold base are ready to assembly. There is also a small Photo Etch sheet with some very delicate parts that need careful removal and adding to the assembly. The Assembly is quick and easy. The final part is painted yellow and looks great as an addition to any diorama. Thanks go to Hauler for providing this kit to review and IPMS USA for allowing me to review it for them. |

When I was offered the opportunity to review this kit, I jumped at the chance. Growing up in the UK, the Wessex was a familiar sight at airshows and at Airports. The kit looks great and when you open the box the size and amount of detail is fantastic! In the box is:

I have never heard much about the British Special Boat Service and was pleased to hear of this book as it tells of the SBS exploits that were never really told fully before. The book tells the story of the SBS from its conception from within the Special Air Service (SAS) in 1942 through to the end of World War II when it was disbanded. The story covers the missions and history of the unit, its men and the major impact they had on the war in and around the Mediterranean. Like the SAS the SBS were very highly trained and ruthless. They were experts in Guerilla warfare and exploiting the Germans weaknesses and local country side whenever they could.
