WWII RAF Driver for Bedford MWD

Published:
Company: Aires Hobby Models

Aerobonus has provided a great figure accessory for the Airfix Bedford MWD, although I think it could be used with other 1/48 RAF vehicles.

The detail quality is extremely high; there was no flash or other imperfection. The parts once removed from the mold base are ready to assembly.

The Assembly is quick and easy. They will look great as an addition to the Airfix Bedford MWD.

Thanks go to Aires for providing this kit to review and IPMS USA for allowing me to review it for them

Fw 190 Landing Gear

Published:
Company: Scale Aircraft Conversions

This is a white metal landing gear set is to for the Eduard 1/72 Fw-190 series of aircraft.

The white metal parts are outstanding and are a great replacement for the already well-detailed kit parts. The parts include the main two struts and support struts plus the rear wheel assembly.

The parts are well cast. One part was slightly bent, probably due to shipping and was easily bent back. The parts were a perfect fit to the existing mount and were a dream to assemble.

I highly recommend these parts are a great addition to an already extremely well detailed kit.

Thanks go to Scale Aircraft Conversions for providing this set to review and IPMS USA for allowing me to review it for them.

Multicar M-22

Published:
Company: Plusmodel

Plus Model has provided another great resin kit of an East German cold war truck; the Multicar M-22. Used for all types of military cargo use, mainly on airfields across Eastern Europe by the Czech forces.

The detail quality is good in most areas. There minimal flash or other imperfections. Once removed from the mold base, the parts are ready to assemble. There was a very bad bow in the chassis which I managed to reduce a bit using hot water, but it is still a little visible in the final build.

The small parts are very delicate, and you must take extreme care when removing them from the mold base.

The Assembly is in 15 steps and is very quick and easy. The only issues encountered were the bow in the Chassis, as I mentioned previously, and the drive shaft was a… more

Brengun has provided another great uncommon model a 1947 production Soviet Pulse Jet missile based on the German V-1.

The kit contains

Construction

This build starts the twin pulse jet engines which do require a little bit of attention with filler when complete. Construction moves on to the missile body and again a little bit of iller is required. Wing and tail assembly was straight forward and I utilized a jig were aligned correctly as the attachment locations are very shallow. The final stage of the missile assembly is to attach of the pulse jet engines to the body and expect no surprises with this step. The missile cart assembly went together very easily. The… more

The book arrived and I was very impressed with its quality and content! It was a joy just to have and flick thro as the pictures are worth getting this book for alone.

The book is a definitive guide to the history of the Sturmartillerie from its conception in 19335 up until the end of World War 2. British Battle Tanks World War 1 to 1939

The book explores the early development history of the British tanks from 1915 to 1939. To be honest I had never read known much about the early tank development, but this book really does provide all the knowledge you could want on the early tanks and their success and failures.

It is writing so everyone can grasp and understand the history and technical details of this important piece of the tanks creation.

It covers all the prototypes and concepts of the British Tank development including the main variations and their uses. The many pictures really add to the books ability to clearly show the primitive tanks as they evolved into practical working armored vehicles.
