The Product:

The Aires set arrived in the standard blister pack we all have come to recognize. Secured in place with a small foam block accompanied with the familiar blue instruction sheet, the resin parts are highly detailed and somewhat delicate. My sample was flawless and bubble free. The set contains parts for both gun bays including the guns, ammo cans, feed chutes and multi part cover doors.

The Bottom line:

The instructions are well thought out pointing out where modifications are required. This mainly consists of removing the gun bay covers from the top wing halves. This is not hard to do simply follow the panel lines when doing the cut outs and the resin gun bays simple fit into the opening. You must also remove the pour block stub from the bottom side of the resin gun bays and the wing halves should fit at this point remembering fundamentals are what make a great model. All the other parts simply drop into place with little effort and need only a little bit of clean up. All in all this is a great item and is well worth the time and effort needed for a proper fit.
