Thank you to the Eduard Company for sending this detail set for review, it is always a pleasure to see what your new products bring to the scale-modeling world. The photoetch frets arrived in excellent shape in a sealed plastic package with the distinctive Eduard knight logo. The seatbelt fret is on polished metal with color-etched laminated details. Shoulder straps, belt, and pads are included. The “correct position” inset on the lower central part of the instruction sheets appears to show a seat cushion or parachute in the seat pan. I think the purpose if the inset is to show the correct position of the attachment points regardless of a parachute or pilot figure. The PE material is referred to as steel, but it is only weakly magnetic. More importantly, the material has just the right amount of flexibility and firmness, so you can bend and form the parts without difficulty. I did not have any issues with color delamination on the parts. I am not using a pilot figure, but these seatbelts could easily be adapted to a modified figure in the cockpit. A color instruction sheet is included in the package, and Eduard has the same instruction sheet available for download on the product page. I really appreciate having the electronic PDF format to mark up on my computer, not to mention the ability to enlarge the sheet for my aging and increasingly deficient eyeballs.

I highly recommend this set, for ease-of-use, accuracy, and value. The parts sure looks good in the cockpit. Thank you again Eduard and the IPMS Reviewer Corps!
