Eduard Models continues to expand its Brassin line, this time with a drop-in replacement for the Hasegawa Mc 202 (also applicable to the Eduard Folgore #1132). The parts are casted in grey resin, with no bubbles or surface imperfections. Please note that the parts are handed (i.e., they are left and right parts). The exhaust ends are hollow (big improvement over the plastic… more |

Super Etendard Seatbelts - STEELPublished: January 23, 2017 Eduard continues to expand its series pre-painted seatbelts in the “steel” series. I think that Eduard Models call this product line “Steelbelts”. When working with this new line of seatbelts (steelbelts) the main thing that jumps is how thin they are. Reading in the Info Eduard (June 2016 issue) they say they are 0.04 mm thick. I should probably say they are 0.04 mm thin.… more |

Mosquito Exhausts - 5 Tube Exhaust Plus Siamese ConnectionPublished: June 18, 2021 I will be honest, I have not heard of Resin2Detail until about two months ago. I think they are about 1-yr old company and certainly they specialize in aftermarket details for aircraft (32nd, 48th and 72nd) , but visiting their website I’ve found at least one armor item. This particular item gives you 4 exhausts of the 5-tube plus Siamese connection for… more |

We March Against England - Operation Sea Lion 1940-41Published: December 15, 2016 Osprey Publishing is well known for its softbound, mid-length book (80 to 100 pages) covering a specific topic. This book stands on its own category, with over 300 pages and hardbound. It speaks quality all around, down to its dust cover. And the quality does not stop at the book binding, this is a carefully and thoughtfully researched book on a military operation that never was: Sea… more |

A6M2b Zero Fighter Type 21 "341st Flying Group"Published: November 6, 2016 Hasegawa has re-boxed their well-known A6M2b in 1/48 scale. Despite being an “old” mold (at least 10-yr, if not a bit more), the parts still hold really well, with no flash anywhere, petite and fine details, recessed panel lines and perfectly molded parts. Construction, as usual begins with the cockpit. The only thing I decided to add was to drill the lightening holes in the seat and… more |
