They focus on subjects like Star Trek, 2001, Space 1999, classic monsters, and comic book heroes. Their warehouse is located in Lawrenceville, GA, just east of Atlanta. Owned by Steve Iverson who purchased the company from Frank and Joanne Winspur in 2018. Steve Iverson might also be familiar since he also owns CultTVman’s Sci-Fi Modeling. Their first kit was the Land of the Giants Snake Diorama that was originally released by Aurora in 1968. Cross & Cockade International Spring 2022 Volume 53/1Published:
Cross & Cockade International is a non-profit UK based group known as the First World War Aviation Historical Society that publishes their journal four times a year. They also provide a free newsletter (sign up on their website) and occasionally publish WWI themed books like the Sopwith Dolphin monograph I reviewed earlier for IPMS USA. This Journal is the sister of the US Journal, Over The Front. The Spring 2022 journal of Cross & Cockade International features a nice sharp black and white photograph of a Felixstowe F2A, N4297, flying boat in flight on August 20, 1918. The rear inside cover has two more black and white photographs of Felixstowe F2As to coordinate with the first article in this issue. Stephen Ransom was born in Oxfordshire, England, and studied aeronautical engineering at the University of Salford. He was employed by various companies' advanced projects offices in the aircraft industry, and also worked for some time in the space industry. He has a deep interest in the history of British and German aviation. Hans-Hermann Cammann was born in Celle, Germany. He grew up watching his father fly model aircraft as a hobby and took a deep interest in the history of the Me 163 and the men who flew it. He's become a regular guest at annual reunions.
