Aeroline over the past several months has released several different variants of the Cushman scooter. This version is the "Deluxe Auto-Glide" that was used for firefighting operations around airfields. The Fire Fighter version came with a sidecar and four CO fire extinguishers. This was one of the reasons that I wanted to the review of this model as I am a firefighter.

Getting to the model. The kit comes packaged in a clear plastic container with a cardboard insert. There are twelve resin parts, seven photo etch parts, one brass wire, one soft wire and a decal sheet. The resin parts in my example were free of any bubbles and clean up was easy from the pour stubs with one exception. The portion of the decking forms a triangle and there is a pour stub attached to it. I got a little heavy handed and pulled it off and had use a piece of plastic card to fix it. Was my fault, just use caution in that area. Assembly is pretty straight forward, with the only area that was slightly challenging was the supports on the forks on the front wheel. They have to be cut from the brass wire and bent. I had no issues with the application of the decals, they laid down perfect.

I recommend this kit to modelers that have a little bit of experience working with multi media kits. This kit could make an interesting addition to any airfield diorama, or just as a change of pace kit.

I want to thank Plus Model and IPMS/USA for affording me the opportunity to review this kit.
