The Triple Ejector Rack (TER) is a weapon suspension unit that attaches to an aircraft's main racks (pylons), and can carry up to three weapons. The Triple Ejector Rack has a single drop capability so the aircrew can drop the three bombs individually. Aircraft can carry the full range of Mk80, Mk20 series bombs on TER's. There are a lot of Internet references on these so information is plentiful.

Aerobonus has released a set containing two beautiful resin TER's. The set is 14 pieces of perfect gray resin as per usual Aires standards. 12 of the pieces are separate shackles for the bombs. Construction involves removing the two bodies and all 12 shackles. This is time consuming as the shackles are small but patience will reward the builder in this case. Then, you add three pieces of fine wire for the connections to the bomb releases. Painting and priming are next. I finished one in a white scheme and a black wash to show the exquisite detail. All that is left is to mount it to your plane's pylon and add weapons.

Highly recommended - these are a leap in detail above the current plastic ones offered, would look great with or without weapons, and would add a lot of visual appeal to a model.

My thanks to Aerobonus, Aries and IPMS/USA for the chance to review this excellent item.
