Boeing F-15 E/K/SG Strike Eagle
HMH publications is a relatively new company that produces specialized military aircraft books. This publication is 196 pages with 450+ full-color close-up detail and in action images.
The book starts out with the different versions of the Strike Eagle and then breaks down each section into particular areas of detail. In the upper right corner of each page, the area of detail is clearly defined which is perfect when thumbing through looking for each area of detail. Each image is extremely crisp showing amazing detail and perfect lighting conditions. Attention to specific areas usually hidden from many “walk around” photos are shown in this book.
A vast majority of the photographs cover RAF Lakenheath F-15E aircraft in extreme detail however other Strike Eagle versions are covered in some detail throughout the book. The book's title indicates F-15E/K/SG aircraft however F-15I (Israel), early F-15SA (Saudi Arabia) and the new F-15EX (based on Qatar F-15QA). With the new Strike Eagle versions being manufactured by Boeing, I am hoping that a second edition of this book in the near future but what I see with this book, it covers all the F-15 Strike Eagle kits that are available to scale modelers.
I highly recommend this book for reference on the F-15 Strike Eagle I would like to thank Casemate and IPMS/USA for this book to review.

I have been building models since at least 8 years old and with a brief break after high school, model building started again late in college. My preferred subjects are aircraft of all eras and scales but a majority of my builds are 1/48 scale. I am the son of a USAF navigator who flew tactical airlift in Vietnam then his last 8 years he served at Altus AFB where he retired. My love of aircraft comes naturally and try to build subjects that I have a personal connection to. My day job parallels the hobby where I design full flight simulators ranging from small corporate jets, military fighter jets to the C-17. I hold a commercial pilot certificate and fly as a volunteer with the Civil Air Patrol. I really enjoy flying cadets, passing on the love of flight and inspiring future aviators.
