About the Company

DXM which stands for Double Excellent Models was started by a group of modelers in Taipei, Taiwan. The group started manufacturing decals in 2010 covering a broad range of aircraft including an extensive list of Japanese air command meets.

What’s on the Sheet?

This sheet covers 60th anniversary of the Escadron De Chasse 03-003 “Ardennes” Fighter Squadron which flies the Two-Seat all weather attack aircraft out of Nancy-Ochey airbase in North-Eastern France. The markings for this decal sheet are as:

• Mirage 2000D EC3/3 Nancy-Ochey Airbase France

The Decals are extremely colorful and lively and everyone who I showed these too thought the boars would definitely make any Mirage 2000D kit stand out. The Yellows were extremely bright and I could see virtually no carrier film. They are printed by Cartograf on a single large sheet.

The decals have a 1 sheet instruction booklet covering paint schemes, color callout along with decal and stencil placement on the front and back. The single Decal sheet has all Special markings, tail codes, roundels and stencil data. You’ll have two choices of special markings but only enough stencil data to complete one aircraft marked with your choosing or a combination use of both sets of markings as the research I saw online showed multiple variations of markings for this occasion using these decals.

The Color callouts are for GSI Mr. Color and Humbrol but the FS numbers are also included which make converting to the paint manufacturer of your choice easier.

No Kits were specified, you could use the Eduard Weekend edition kits but from my personal opinion I think the Kinetic or Heller kits would mark beautiful candidates for these decals to honor a very important date in the French air force and the EC3/3 “Ardennes” Squadron.
